When Should I Clean My Sensor?

This is a question that is best answered by the individual and is usually based on their personal tolerance level. Some professional photographers swear by doing regular cleanings once a week while others do it only on an as needed basis. Depending on the type of photography you are doing, low lighting as opposed to landscape (high f-stop), your threshold may be lower because the debris does not show up as readily in the images. As a basic piece of advice: do not be obsessed with cleaning the chamber and sensor areas. The more often you clean your sensor, the greater the chance that something may go wrong.
